u 1 yMoreso now than I did with Pope Francis, who I think in time will be remembered as one of the absolute WORST popes in history.
Already, I like Leo better than Francis. I at least don't get the sense that my spiritual father hates me (and he did, I don't care what anyone says; he was a bitter, angry, hateful man). However, Pope Leo XIV still has a lot more in common with his unholy predecessor than I'd like. We'll just have to see how things turn out.

1 yThe Catholic Church's leadership structure involves the Pope (Bishop of Rome and successor to St. Peter), regional archbishops and bishops, and priests and deacons who lead local parishes. The Church's political and social positions are also evolving, with changes evident in institutional structures and activities. While the Church maintains a hierarchical structure, it also emphasizes the importance of a communitarian and Christian type of democracy.
Elaboration:
Leadership Structure:
The Catholic Church is governed by a hierarchical system, with the Pope at the head. Regional leadership is entrusted to archbishops and bishops, who oversee archdioceses and dioceses. Priests and deacons provide sacramental and spiritual leadership at the local parish level.
Evolving Political and Social Positions:
The Church has been adapting to changes in the political and social landscape. This includes shifts in institutional structures and activities, as well as adjustments to the Church's political and social stances.
Commitment to Democracy:
The Catholic Church has historically supported democratic principles, advocating for a communitarian and Christian type of democracy. However, the Church also emphasizes the importance of social justice, the common good, and the rejection of individualism in favor of communitarianism.
Hierarchy:
The Catholic Church has a strong emphasis on hierarchy, with the Pope as the supreme authority. Bishops are considered the chief leaders, with priests and deacons serving as their assistants.
Role of Faith:
The Church's rule of faith is based on the Word of God, as contained in Scripture and Apostolic Tradition.10 Reply
1 yThe Bishop of Rome (Pope) is the leader of the other Catholic Bishops. The word bishop comes from the Greek episkopos from epi- "over" + skopos "one that watches, one that looks after; a guardian, protector". Their job is to guard and protect the word of God. It's like a military post. They stand on the wall and ensure that the message of the gospel stay true, and thus act as the chief teachers of a diocese to insure other priests are trained and stay consistent with the Bible. It's not like everyone that goes to church is looking to some leader to tell them what to do. Catholics have the Bible for that. Those with the most understanding of scripture often pursue positions in the church to guard the word, but it has long been understood by the church that evil will try to infiltrate the church and that there are those who will abandon their post and fall into apostasy. It's understood that Freemasons/Gnostics are actively infiltrating the Catholic Church in an attempt to corrupt the word of God and destroy the church from within. This is what is refereed to as the Deep Church. So, no not everyone in the Catholic church are on the side of God. Catholics have faith in God, not faith in men as it were. Catholics know to actively watch for those who are trying to destroy the church.

You have to stay true to the word of God and put your support behind bishops that fight for the church, knowing full and well they face threats from within that are trying to tear it all down. In the end God wins, but not everyone that is considered "leadership" will be standing at the end of the fight. There are those that are true to the faith within the church and in the end they will win.
1 yI had this conversation with my mom not long ago as she raised me as Catholic. We both still believe in God but also believe the Catholic Church is corrupt. Most of the donations during the services just go to the Vatican and not really to charity. We don’t agree with that.

Anonymous(36-45)1 yI'll be sure for certain when I see his behaviors towards the traditionalists. I only attend the Tridentine/Latin Mass. "Pope" Francis actively had hatred towards folks like me and supressed many traditional communities like the Franciscans of the Immaculate.

1 yNope. As an outsider i oppose and even for their own benefits , they need to stop requiring weekly prayer and confession, so they can count those "people who don't" in their total.

1 yAbsolutely not the Catholic church and the office of the papacy is the first beast that rises out of the sea in the book of Daniel. Not the individual person but the organization and office itself.

1 yI dont care about the Catholic Church. I'm a Christian. I follow the words and works of Christ. Catholics are satanic idolatry who contradict almost all of his words and works. Thays why he warned us to come out of her, the synagogue and churches.
