Do you agree that humility is needed for God to maximize your blessings in life or to maximize His guardianship towards you?

I have concluded based on the times I humbled myself and times I did not humble myself, that the more arrogant and proud you are, the more spiritually basic and dumb you become.

And the more humble, modest and secretively virtuous you are, the more spiritually intelligent you become.

I have met people who fast and pray because they think it is an act of humility, but then they judge others and gossip about those who irritate them instead of going to the person's face and having a productive conversation that might change their problematic behaviour through the person who irritates them.

The bible says humility before God does not count, if you are not willing to also respect your fellow human beings and treat their life prospects and reputation wth respect.

If you fast, pray and worship, yet you are judging, excluding and mocking others, you will receive the same punishment as the arrogant people who mock and hate God. And you will be just as ignorant and unsophisticated as the arrogant people who mock God.

Because God expects you to love not only God, but also human beings. And God expects you to be humble before human beings, and not just before your religious tradition. If you respect God but not human beings, you are only half religious and half decent in your faith.
