Do you wonder why poor churches have so much zeal and gusto when they pray?

The bible says the more you spend on luxury, indulgence, and ease, the more difficult your religious demands become. When you are poor socially, experientially, and financially, religion is easy, because nothing is competing with your interest in God. But when your steak and caviar competes with God, running a religious race becomes challenging, and some who refuse to give up their status and wealth, end up with horrific diseases, because they need that trauma to compensate for their stingy and greedy life style. But if you give to those in need, avoid vain indulgence, work hard, treat people with respect, and pray to God, you can reduce the risk of trauma for being rich.
