I’m not a Christian, but I can believe Jesus was a man, and a good one with good teachings.
I find it unfortunate that some of his most devout followers don’t adhere to those teachings, or only apply it to SOME people, and not all. Respectfully as possible, I don’t think Jesus would approve of current American Evangelical Christianity.
Im Catholic. Ave, ave Christus Rex ✝️🙏
What's so great & wonderful about Jesus? He seemed to think himself great without actually achieving anything but "miracles".
@Wodens_Apprentice didn't his religion conquer not with the sword but with the holy spirit his people's oppressors
@Wodens_Apprentice to have universal (and not just “selective”) compassion and empathy for all other humans is one of the greatest virtues a person can have. Jesus believed in that, and so do I, however imperfect my execution may be at times. The ultimate goal is universal and unconditional empathy.
@exitseven No. I guess I'm just not as skilled at wizardry as Jesus.
@WhiteSteve
How is compassion even a virtue to begin with? Virtue was originally a pagan value associated with me which meant to be 'warlike' but became associated with stoicism as the Romans adopted Greek influence.
Christianity is a stoic cult which means they place a strong emphasis on not giving a fuck about anything like Buddhists do because they think human instinct is entirely demonic.
I get you, you wanna translate catholic rex from latin "christus rex" and "Jesus King Most Wonderful: From the Raccolta" but... that term king is DEMOTING christ to "king herod." If catholics would believe their OWN book, jesus would be called "the one lord" over lords like book romans 10, and nicene creed. Sorry priests lead you away from your own book, that they say is true and holy but insult.
You don't seem to realise "King" is a Germanic title with pagan origins. These Christians aren't taking the word literally they're trying to suggest that Jesus is the boss. These are just surface level criticisms on language.
@Wodens_Apprentice you guessed wrong the POLL HERE HAS THE WORD "REX'. i actually know greek, the new testament and nicene creed that catholics, at least *preists know. Rex is latin, they knowingly maliciously insulted their OWN holy book.
King of kings. Lord of lord. Jesus was called king many times in the bible. Rex in Latin means ruler, king, monarch
Agreed. by the way how is liking Jesus Islamaphobic? He's one of the most important prophets to them as well and they accept him as the Messiah.
Same way some claim its antisemitic
Muslims don't accept him as the Messiah. They see him and Jewish religious leaders as prophets, but until Mohammad, the message wasn't correct. It's possible that those prophets either 1) Didn't understand God's message or 2) Their followers perverted it and therefore God kept having to find new prophets to communicate his message.
That's because they don't believe that sins can be forgiven. You must do good to outweigh the bad you do. That's how you reach heaven, your good outweighs your bad by enough. I actually like this; it also allows true repentance. You can lie and say you're sorry to yourself. If you aren't sorry, you can lie to a priest, but you aren't really sorry, however in your mind you can truly be sorry and repent regardless of what you say.
If you know the history of Islam you'd know why Christian don't view Muhammed on the side of Christ.
Islam doesn't acknowledge Jesus as a part of the divine itself, just a messenger of it. This is because Muhammed himself as an Arian Christian & Arian Christians often used this belief to point out flaws in Jesus' teachings & integrate their pagan & cultural framework into the Christian religion.
Many Germanic tribes that conquered the Roman Empire also practices Arian belief for the exact same reason.
The Chalcedonian church (Catholic & Orthodox) condemned Arianism as a heresy pretty early on.
Christ is King but I don’t think Christ hates Jews, Muslims, gay people, trans people or women
Does a father hate a wayward child?
He seems to in the bible. Jesus also reaffirms the old testament, which is Israelite literature. The Israelites were the most hateful bigots to have ever existed. They literally thought they were a unique & chosen people, & that every other race is going to hell.
Modern Jews are those who upheld the Pharisees corruption which is explicitly what Jesus preached again. The Jewish Talmud also claims Jesus is in hell being boiled by faeces (the Talmud is even more hateful than the Qur'an).
@Wodens_Apprentice no it doesn’t!

Yes, Christ is King. The Scriptures clearly show that he has already been enthroned in heaven, seated at the right hand of God, awaiting the time when he will extend his rule to the whole earth.
Psalm 110:1 says: “Jehovah declared to my Lord: ‘Sit at my right hand until I place your enemies as a stool for your feet.’” This shows that Christ’s kingship begins in heaven, but his enemies are still on earth until the appointed time.
Acts 2:33-36 explains that after his resurrection, Jesus was exalted to God’s right hand and made both Lord and Christ. So, he rules now in the heavens, but his authority over the nations will be revealed later.
When Christ returns, his kingship will extend over the earth. Revelation 11:15 describes that future time: “The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will rule as king forever and ever.”
At his second coming, he will bring in the promised millennial kingdom. Revelation 20:4 shows that he will reign for a thousand years, bringing blessings, justice, and peace to the whole earth.
So, Christ is King now in heaven, but he will become King over the entire earth only after his return, when God’s will is finally done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10).
I personally don’t believe so, though was raised in Christian Religion.
I say everyone should subscribe to the religion they want to follow whether Catholicism , Christianity , Judaism , Islam , Hinduism , Buddhism , The wide range of Tribal Religions , etc.
There are a lot of religions and a lot depend on one’s cultural background , upbringing and heritage , and faith. Even some convert from one to another which they have a choice to do.
As long as you practice good and want to bring positive , happy , good feelings through your religion as you are the vessel then good on you and bless you also I pray for you.
Absolutely YES! Long live Christ the King!
You're sinning by posting such picture. Smh.
@Hispanic-Cool-Guy you already think I'm going to Hell anyway. So should I even bother defending?
Go right ahead. Keep doing it. Be a heretic to agaian Biblical Christianity and disobey clear commandments from the Most High.
It's your problem.
* against
@Hispanic-Cool-Guy Because good Christians encourage people to go to hell, even sarcastically.
Or Christians are just a bunch of LARPers afraid of the inevitable (death).
@wodens_apprentice: Once a person has been warned and still choose to believe and follow lies they are damned to hell.
The Bible is very clear that heretics won't inherit the kingdom of God in Galatians 5
@Hispanic-Cool-Guy Mexicans, Brazilians & other slave races go to Helheim & aren't strong enough to reincarnate into new life forms, achieve purity & therefore heaven.
@Hispanic-Cool-Guy Also "Hell" is an English pagan concept twisted when the English converted to Christianity.
@Wodens_Apprentice where do you get that idea?
@BCRanger10
1 It's okay for Christians to claim I'm going to hell for my religion.
2 it's okay for Jews to claim I'm going to hell for my race (just read the old Testament & Talmud).
3 It's not okay for me to be a racialist pagan, even though so many of our ancestors were.
4 Hell literally comes from Germanic mythology. She is like a female version of Hades & it's where those not worthy of divinity go when they die & await reincarnation (the whole Ragnarok cycle is a reference for life, death, rebirth & keeping hope even when everything seems bad).
Many Eastern & Buddhist beliefs were brought to them by Sky-Father worshipping Aryans from the European steppes (Ukraine) which is also the origin behind the Theodish (Germanic) people.
@Wodens_Apprentice so when Jesus, in the Bible, spoke about eternal and everlasting fire, wailing and grinding of teeth, Gehenna, and so forth, he was... borrowing from English paganism? Am I understanding that right?
No because Hell in English paganism is a bleak abode of the dead. Not necessarily a place of torment yet not heaven either. Many people descend from the Siberians who domesticated the dog & a common myth can be found of a spiritual journey, crossing a bridge to life or falling off.
Jesus never used the word "Hell" that is a translation. The English when baptised didn't entirely give up their germanic mythological world view so they translated what they thought to be Christian "Hades" (from Greek myth tho) into their own understanding.
This is why "God" is someone cognate with Odin's name who some tribes called "Godan" or "Wodan". These words mean something contextually similar, ""To Invoke" "To Pour" (a libation?)
The Norse recorded Hel (death) as a daughter of Loki (a Luciferian trickster if you will) & the English likely believed the exact same thing considering even once they'd been baptised they accused liars of being "Warloga" (oath breaker, Loga cognate with locks of flames & door locks like Loki). To lie was to fuck up your Wyrd (cognate with "word" & "weird" (Wizardly autists who read too much like master of Runes Odin) therefore weakening your spirit which is bound by fate (look up Fylgja).
Woden binds reality together with words & runes, whilst his dark brother Loki breaks it apart & causes chaos.
The comparison was recognised by Tolkien with Gandalf the White (named after Women's staff) & the black wizard Saruman.
*Woden
Someone needs to shoot the person who creates spellcheck
No, I don't worship any man or imaginary god. Worshiping another human or a god that you can't prove exists is a cult. Jesus was just another dude like Confucius, Buddha, Mohammed, Moses, whatever. To say that any man is any more the son of a god than anybody else is a bunch of holy hogwash. They all might have been good dudes and taught people not to be pieces of shit, but that's about it. Saying people have magical powers and all that is just myths and legends.
That's not a legit criticism of Christianity that's just you telling everyone you're a reddit atheist who can't see the world past a surface level of rationality.
But if you're clever enough, you realise the more you rationalise the world the less it actually makes sense. Sure the maths align, but nothing explains anything & I'm the end science is just good at calculating outcomes.
I was raised an atheist so beliefs like a man could be god, he could preform miracles or rise from the dead, an afterlife, one man who will save the world, etc. are all really foreign and bizarre concepts to me. I was raised with civil not religious values and I think I treat people fine.
I once heard a Somali woman in full burqa say, “Somalis are brave - they die once, not twice” and I’ll always remember this.
There’s a part in this animation by David Firth that sums it up:
https://www.youtube.com/embed/6-A4zT8wp8EGod is not a man, nor a Son of Man (Numbers 23:19)
Isaiah also writes there is no God beside Yahweh, no God before Yahweh, and there shall be no God after Yahweh. Thus even if Jesus were somehow the real Son of God (why would the Son of God lie and claim to be God though?) But even if that were possible, he could never be elevated to equality with God.
Fact is Christianity is complete nonsense.
When you argue what is possible for God you blasphem.
NO it is not blasphemy. God himself SAID he did not do those things and would never do those things.
When you claim a man is God, YOU are blaspheming, because God said God is not a man, which ought to be patently obviously true to you.
To @SeekerOfTruth007 at that time in book numbers "god is not a man." Also you skipped words... "god is not a man who lies" like YOU just did.
@strateguy632
IN the beginning, God existed.
God Created Adam.
Adam was the First Man.
Therefore, God is not a man.
I have not contradicted myself nor lied.
The fact you SKIPPED words shows you lied and corrupted the bible.
@strateguy632 I did not corrupt the bible. Therre are 5 independent clauses in numbers 23:19, and I quoted the two relevant ones. There is no corruption in what i did.
Arguing what is possible or impossible for God to do is blasphemous
I'm a Christian so I believe He is King. But I'm not going to get into a debate or discussion over the other things. I get tired of people getting butt hurt over opinions. I hate getting blocked, over my opinions too.
People tend to block me for my opinions because I tell the truth & they hate truth.
But there's His Majesty King Charles III 👑 first for me
And his brother randy Andy.
@gwendoline I just like my head of state who happens to be King Charles III 😋👑 anyways - hopefully Australia never becomes a republic, especially not in my lifetime - and remember you can't pick your families (referring to Andy)
Any prove he existed? Maybe a figure created by religion to control or spread the fear to people?
I'm not against religion , everyone has rights to believe or not to whatever they want , but misinformation and manipulation is old as human world , it is said, who controls information, controls power
No based on his own words and precepts of 'Render unto Caesar etc'.
Charles III is king.
You know that last choice is blasphemic! He is God! And EVERY knee shall bend, and EVERY tongue shall confess that He IS Lord one day soon! And I DO mean EVERY!
Simba might have something to say about Christ being king
Christ is a joke, your imaginary friend, the Easter Bunny.
i think democracy isn't perfect but monarchy is certainly a step down from that. so no. christ luckily isn't king.
Jesus The Christ is Dio incarnato. The un vero dio.
G0d incarnate
The one true G0d.
LoL, which one?
The White "American" one, the Black Jacobite one, the olive skinned Jewish one... the list goes on.
Well obviously jesus was a hebrew.
Yes of course he is God The King, the one and only ✝️
Yes, I believe in Jesus. He is the only king and the only true God. All other gods are fake. ✝️✝️
So Jesus is actually Woden as "God" is cognate with Woden/Godan/Odin, aswell as the Germanic druids known as "Godi" & the tribes named after him "the Goths" & "Geats"
Woden rules supreme even over the Christians. Thanks is for admitting my God is actually yours. All because or English speaking ancestors manipulated the church into calling their "logos" after Woden himself.
There is no other "God's" as there is only one Woden. However many other deities do exist.
He is. Every knee will bow to the kings of kings and lords of lords and confess that the Lord Jesus is Lord to the glory of the Father.
Christ is a metaphor for the laws of the universe as are most all religious figures. Instructive mythology to help guide people through life.
not religious but if I were, Christ definitely is King
I'm not sure about that, but I think he was very wise, and set a good example of how to live.
Yes I am glad this app has more Christians bc Jesus is King of kings
Jesus is Cyning, an English pagan title.
Sure 👍🏻 I hope he’s real because I get scared that it’s just something we made up to feel less scared.
Christianity was made precisely to capitalise on the slave monster & poor peoples sense of insecurity & mortality.
That's why it was popular with the slaves first until it creeps it's way to the top
Usually the last people in society to be baptised are the rural bumpkins who has money, status & a military background. In many of these ancient societies you had to be a warrior to even be considered a free man.
These people were forced into Christianity or faced people persecuted & tortured to death. Practicing cultural festivals & rituals in public was made illegal. Ancient Christians would be appealed at how modern Christians celebrate Christmas & Easter as effectively a pagan festival rather than some boring church event where you faste & submit to a sadistic deity who wants to keep you humble & non-threatening.
@Wodens_Apprentice Christian Easter is based on the Jewish passover and the events b4 and after. It isn't held around the same time because of differences in the jewish and gregorian calender which dont line up and for instance Easter Sunday and good Friday have to be held on those days rather than by date.
Christmas was probably designated by early Christans to be celebrated on the 25th December to align with all the other cultures in the roman empire that had a festival on the winter solstice, the winter solstice used to occur on he 25th until the calendar was adjusted, the greek orthodox going by the old calendar celebrate Christmas in January.
My comment has bad grammar but yes, these holidays were originally quite stale. The fun forms in which it comes have Germanic roots (& the English are Germanic).
The English worshipped a goddess known as Eostre (where Easter gets it's name). That goddess was associated with fertility & solar aspects. Bede describe feasts held in her honour around Pascha.
Christ was/is not, nor wanted/wants to be, ruler over anybody.
Yeha he just wants to let people go to hell for the gate to heaven is very narrow. Jesus condemned even most of his followers because the human desire to achieve excellence is apparently evil (and Christians tell me Christianity is not spiritual communism...)
Jesus is King 👑 ❤️
Woden is Cyning.
I thought Trump thinks he is the King?
You ever ask yourself about how often you mention trump?
The historical Christ is in amalgamated fiction.
Jesus Christ is King now and forever! 🙏 Amen✝️
Christians is a Jewish psyop to weaken their white superiors. Oden girls the Allfather.
Wes Hal, to you & Woden 🧙♂️ 🙋♂️
That is correct. If we never embraced a desert cult we wouldn't have ever tolerated Semites to begin with (Muslims & especially Jews).
Semitic mythology is demonic. Even the pagan Semites.
Why do they think their monotheistic cults with greedy deities that compete with each other are any different?
It's only make-believe.
@gwendoline disagree
