What have you learned from spending time with God?

Today I learned, the reason my career has been delayed for so long, is that God wanted me to decide on a husband, before I decide on a job, because God does not want me to marry a man who is with me for money, so God wanted to make sure I found the right guy who I could commit to, before he gave me a job. Every time I considered the guy I'm with, I found easy ways to make money, and every time I considered any other guy, I would fail miserably when I tried to make money.

That’s a beautiful realization. I’ve learned too that God’s timing is always perfect. For me, I’m blessed with six kids, and my wife doesn’t work outside the home she loves managing the kids and the house. And for me, it’s my responsibility and joy to earn and provide for them. It showed me that when we each walk in the role God has written for us, everything feels balanced. I believe He’ll align your relationship and career in the same way, at the right time.

That He is unsearchable and impossible to understand. Years ago that irritated me not being able to understand, but now I love Him even more for it.
