Which god? People have invented thousands of gods and goddesses. None of them are real. All of the "gods" hilariously take on the characteristics of the people who create them. And for every "god" there is always a priestly class waiting to tell you what your magic invisible sky fairy says and wants. It's usually money, ROFL. For some reason all powerful immortal beings need a crap ton of cash.

  My mother had a copy of a Time-Life book on the religions of the world. When I learned that there were multiple religions, and each thought they were right and the others were wrong, based on no evidence at all, I realized there was only one symmetrical solution -- none are true.
