What do you think of the Christian idea, hate the sin not the sinner?

Obviously, Christ believed in sin. And he judged others, such as the money changers in the Temple. But that does not mean he hated them.

There is a story in the bible of a whore that was about to be stoned for her sins. Jesus steps in and protects her from the other sinners about to stone her. They drop their stones and Jesus turns to the whore and tells her to go and sin no more.
