Why don’t even some people who say they’re Christian take what the Bible says about divorce seriously?

I could never be in with someone who is not single from a biblical perspective. I would feel too guilty. I’m not sure how some people seem to ignore how clear the Bible is on this.

There are thousands of catholics who live separately just to obey jesus lesson not to divorce. I know at least 2 protestants (besides myself) who make a fuss about divorces.

Admittedly anglican church and henry the 8th are a big problem!

Because Jesus died so that we could sin and satan exists to prove that humans aren't worthy of God's kindgom, which is untrue. We have to change over time.

They are hypocrites, lot of religious people are like that.
