In his mind, it sure explains the Lord's approach to almost every situation.
Flippant and indifferent and always prepared to forgive and even let bygones be bygones, 😇🤪👀

1. Mischaracterizing God as Flippant or Indifferent
- Concern: Describing the Lord as “flippant and indifferent” contradicts His holy, just, and deeply personal nature.
- KJV Verse:
Deuteronomy 32:4 — “He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.”
→ God is never careless or indifferent; His actions are righteous and deliberate.
---
2. Forgiveness Without Repentance
- Concern: Saying God “lets bygones be bygones” implies automatic forgiveness without genuine repentance or transformation.
- KJV Verses:
Proverbs 28:13 — “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.”
1 John 1:9 — “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
→ Forgiveness requires confession and forsaking sin; it is not granted without repentance.
---
3. Equating Treasure in Heaven with Karma
- Concern: Saying God is “all about building up good treasure or good karma” blends biblical teaching with Eastern philosophy. Karma is impersonal and merit-based; biblical treasure is relational and grace-based.
- KJV Verses:
Matthew 6:19–20 — “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth… But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven… For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”
Ephesians 2:8–9 — “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.”
→ Salvation is not earned through accumulated merit but received through faith in Christ.
---
4. God’s Justice Is Not Passive
- Concern: The idea that God is “always prepared to forgive” without judgment ignores His role as a righteous judge.
- KJV Verse:
Ecclesiastes 12:14 — “For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.”
→ God’s mercy is never detached from justice and accountability.
---
5. God’s Mercy Is Deep, Not Shallow
- Concern: Portraying God’s mercy as casual diminishes its depth and cost — especially the sacrifice of Christ.
- KJV Verse:
Romans 5:8 — “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
→ Forgiveness is not flippant; it was purchased at infinite cost.
Very good update... showing you really wanna put non-Christian ideas as counterfeit Christianity... christ was "flippant" when he flipped those business tables in the temple! forgiving and "cool" and indifferent... sarcasm.
Yeah, that’s actually a pretty solid way to put it, lol. Jesus was kind of the ultimate “big picture” thinker, he didn’t get caught up in the small stuff because he saw everything from that eternal perspective. His calm, forgiving vibe came from knowing that this life, with all its drama and pain, wasn’t the final chapter.
