I always see people making wishes to Jesus or thanking Jesus for granting their wish. Is Jesus a Magic Genie? If not, what's the difference?

Jesus is basically a Magic Genie

I will explain below why they are different

Both are pretend

I doubt @I_Can_Help or anyone else "hates" Christianity. They hate the hypocrisy of people saying they follow the teachings of Jesus but ignore 100% of those teachings and just like being in a hate cult.
