Can you see jesus as a powerfull, all knowing authority who creates whole universe?

I am not sure the reason behind it but i could not picture jesus as the powerfull all knowing, puissant god in my mind. He always seems to me like a male who gives nice advices but not a divine power. How can i change that?

So, remember the trinity: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit are all supposed to be the same thing. Each exists within one being, and while this is usually ideal for catholicism and certain branches of protestantism, it can still be applied to one’s personal understanding of christ.


However, there’s no real issue in humanizing jesus either. Jesus was human, it’s okay to see him as human, flaws and all. When I was a member of the church, I saw god/jesus more as my friend I could talk to sometimes rather than the all-knowing spy that judged me for my thoughts.

LOL, those are two very different things. Jesus cannot be God, nor can God be Jesus.
