+1 yG-d is One, the ever-lasting refuge. Jesus Christ is an awesome prophet and messenger of G-d. How can and why would G-d be a messenger of Himself? Jesus claims to not know what G-d knows in a gospel. He calls G-d ‘my Father and Your Father.’ He can feel pain. He sleeps, eats, and uses the toilet. He can perform miracles, like other prophets can, with the aid/permission of G-d alone. He prays to G-d and no man prays to himself. Some say that He failed to build the temple, but I ain’t exactly certain. Does G-d ever fail? Wee baby Jesus was born circa 4 BCE. Before that, many Jews, Zoroastrians, and even before believed in the same god. According to the canonical gospels, Jesus Christ was crucified with four nails. How can a god not make them disappear? How can a god be born and die? Jesus is often called Christ (mašíakh, anointed one) and son of G-d because many kings (David, Solomon, etc) were also called so. Many Jews say that G-d is ‘Avinu Malkenu,’ or ‘our Father our King.‘ Wasn’t Jesus Christ also talking about another prophet after Himself? The other prophet could be Muhammad, who claimed there’s no deity but G-d, the One, but also Joseph Smith, maybe.

+1 yJesus is the son of God. He was The Virgin Mary's Immaculate conception. I can see where it would be confusing though. There was a story where Jesus claimed to be a king and was executed as punishment and then returned to earth 3 days later and when he arose, he was worshiped like God.
However, this is just one of the many versions. That's probably why so many people read the King James version of the bible because the translations are easier to understand. The most common story is Jesus was crucified for sinners and arose 3 days later.
But to answer the question clearly, no, Jesus is not God. Jesus is God's son. His date of birth was not December 25th, 0000 either, like some believe. Jesus was born around 2 B. C. and died when he was 33, some say 33 AD but there are other resources that say 30 AD. There is a lot of information that is confusing and I'm sure someone here is going to argue with this information because the information varies from religion to religion.

Jesus is a messenger of G-d. He spread what G-d told Him to spread. Same goes for Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Muhammad (peace and blessings upon Them). They all spread G-d’s message and teachings.

+1 yWell there is testimony from those that lived at that time that he healed all diseases of those who came to him, he rose some from the dead, he himself rose from the dead and was taken up to heaven in front of his followers. Those that followed him at that time and knew him (disciples) most were executed for preaching his name (if they knew it was a hoax it is rational to believe they'd recant and confess it was all made up yet they willingly gave up their lives rather than deny him).
It all boils down to whether you believe those accounts or if you think they were all made up.
00 ReplyIn Islam, Jesus PBH is a prophet not a God (Allah)
He was given Allah’s blessing to heal people and return them from the dead.
And he told the people that he only could do it with Allah’s blessing and permission.
we also believe in Jesus’s returning and we don’t believe that he was killed.

to the, well presented but why prefer one book quran over other? just due to parents or childhood?
- +1 y
@strateguy632 because the quran is the only holy book that hasn’t been changed and it’s the same in every nation.
You will never find a quran with different verses or order
any where you buy it, it would be the same.
Unlike the bible which differs between nations.
+1 yIf you are always seeking to see physical evidence you'll miss it, spirituality isn't physical and yes Jesus is God, he died perfect and resurrected 3 days after, that's personally enough evidence for me, his crown of thorns, sandals and nails are in a museum if I'm not mistaken.
11 Reply- +1 y
to mem, and eyewitnesses but thorns would not support divinity.
Well I try to think about it this way.
We are all born from our father and mother. But Jesus was from the Holy spirt and that makes Him so special. Only Him was conceived from the Holy Spirt, and the Holy Spirt is from God.

+1 yThere are many different Christian sects and they have somewhat different beliefs about the relationship between Jesus, God and (in some cases) the Holy Ghost.
Virtually all teach that Jesus is the son of god who died on the cross to redeem mankind's sins and then rose. Beyond that there can be considerable differences00 Reply
+1 yI've heard so many different things... some say he is the earthly embodiment of God. Some say he was a profit... others say he was just a bum getting some chump change from a situation he was in. What Jesus is depends on who you're talking to just to be honest.
How do we know he's not a Mexican that's named "Hey-zues" and he steals hubcaps from cars. Not my problem.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yNo. Jesus is not God. Jesus was a man who assumed divine consciousness. Therefore he became God. You have the same ability. Everything is God. There is only God. The world is made in Gods image... Literally. We are literally made out of God.
