How can Jesus be God when he is born on Earth?

If Jesus is god, why was he born? Why does he have a mother? Why did a woman get pregnant with him? Why did he go through periods like babies, children, teenagers? He could have landed directly on earth as a human. Does anyone agree with me?

The first chapter of St. John's Gospel and the Nicene Creed will provide the answer to this. John's Gospel begins by declaring that Jesus Christ is the Word of God, the Word which "was God" from the beginning. The Nicene Creed states that Jesus Christ is "eternally begotten of the Father", and that He is "consubstantial with the Father".

John's Gospel also goes on to state that "the Word became flesh". Jesus, God the Son, became man without ceasing to be God. An analogy, imperfect though it might be, would be to observe that a man does not cease to be a man when he gets married. Without ceasing to be what he was, he becomes what he was not before. In fact, a series of Christian prayers called the Liturgy of the Hours, says almost that exact phrase.

Now why did God become man? So that He could suffer and die in order to break the curse of sin, and to give us the food of supernatural life, His Body and Blood.

it was so common a belief from evidence during that time…that for 600 years, no one questioned it…. the the Quran suddenly appeared and Muslim attacked Zoroastrian Christians in northern Persia/Iran.

He did this so that he could truly feel for us and experience life the way we do. The Bible says that he was truly God and truly human at the same time. He had to live like us to be able to die for us. To save us from our own mistakes and sins against him.

Jesus was sent down to earth to die for our sins, the reason we can repent for our sins is because Jesus shed his holy and perfect blood for our salvation, he was perfect on earth, but like humans he did get tempted by the devil when he came down as a human

Good question. Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus though he is eternal and always existed, God the Father decided to bring Jesus through the same experience as a standard human being in the flesh beginning at birth and through childhood so that can conquer sin in the manner of sinful flesh as he was obedient and sinless to the end on the cross.
