Trending & News The first chapter of St. John's Gospel and the Nicene Creed will provide the answer to this. John's Gospel begins by declaring that Jesus Christ is the Word of God, the Word which "was God" from the beginning. The Nicene Creed states that Jesus Christ is "eternally begotten of the Father", and that He is "consubstantial with the Father".
John's Gospel also goes on to state that "the Word became flesh". Jesus, God the Son, became man without ceasing to be God. An analogy, imperfect though it might be, would be to observe that a man does not cease to be a man when he gets married. Without ceasing to be what he was, he becomes what he was not before. In fact, a series of Christian prayers called the Liturgy of the Hours, says almost that exact phrase.
Now why did God become man? So that He could suffer and die in order to break the curse of sin, and to give us the food of supernatural life, His Body and Blood.
God-man. Biblical proofs. Genesis 3:15 predicts coming of God upon a cross ( (bruise heel is a forensic reality) from crucifixions.-And this act from Son of God will be born a virgin, live sinless life, die upon cross as substitutionary atonement for Sin of mankind.
Genesis also states “Let Us” go and change languages and disrupt man at Babel.
John1:1: Jesus Christ is the WORD and the WORD was with God.
IT takes study and a perspective from those times rather than from modern days.
it was so common a belief from evidence during that time…that for 600 years, no one questioned it…. the the Quran suddenly appeared and Muslim attacked Zoroastrian Christians in northern Persia/Iran.
—Genesis 6:12…line of Ishmael (Muslims) will be a wild donkey of a man with their hand against everyone and everyone’s hand against them.-sounds like historical and modern times to me…
He did this so that he could truly feel for us and experience life the way we do. The Bible says that he was truly God and truly human at the same time. He had to live like us to be able to die for us. To save us from our own mistakes and sins against him.

Jesus was sent down to earth to die for our sins, the reason we can repent for our sins is because Jesus shed his holy and perfect blood for our salvation, he was perfect on earth, but like humans he did get tempted by the devil when he came down as a human
Best response I have read on here. You explained it fantasticly!
Thanks 💯
I don't understand why people consider Jesus as the son of God. he never told anywhere in Bible that he is son of God. And why does God needed a Son...
Jesus was born miraculously he was a not a son of God but the messanger of God.
“And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” -Matthew 3:17
@DenizZzZ
Whaaat hahahah don't talk nonsense please
Good question. Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus though he is eternal and always existed, God the Father decided to bring Jesus through the same experience as a standard human being in the flesh beginning at birth and through childhood so that can conquer sin in the manner of sinful flesh as he was obedient and sinless to the end on the cross.
I was actually reading this in the Bible in the book of Romans two days ago.
The purpose was to conquer sin in the likeness of sinful flesh which he did for 33 years.
I think some of the opinions here saying He wasn’t the Son of God are from people that don’t know the Bible at all.
“And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” -Matthew 3:17.
I mean it’s right there... 😆
There's a simple explanation. God isn't real. Maybe Jesus was a real person, but if so, he was mortal like all of us.
Jesus is neither god or his son... He is a prophet and a miracle of god...
“And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Matthew 3:17
I’m not trying to convince you. Though if you’re not a Christian your views on the divinity of Christ are absolutely worthless. But opinions are like assholes...
Are you saying God couldn't do this simple thing?
So you admit there's something your God can't do.
Excellent.
No. She is saying that he could have, but chose not to. He did it this way because that is how it was ment to be done. God can do anything he wants, and has all the authority in the world to do so.
Because he came to the earth as God the father the son the holy ghost
Jesus is not the son of god. He is the miracle of god. If he has a son, Jesus becomes god, or god becomes a being that gives birth. They contradict each other.
you are suppose to believe whatever they shove down your throat. like OAN NewsMax Fox News
Jesus is the son. he was made in Heaven and born on Earth.
Jesus is God's son. 🤣🤣🤦♀️🤦♀️
What makes you think Jesus is God?
John 10:30
"I and the Father are one."
Those words were spoken by Jesus himself.
Go educate yourself
Ok sir
