Would you say that intuition is modern prophecy?

Our tenant was 4 days late with rent and they are very wealthy and educated people. I considered kicking them out for defaulting on rent, but I think my intuition was telling me that they would eventually pay us, they were just delayed due to being busy with new years celebrations. I have only missed one payment in the last 22 years, so if somebody is 4 hours late, I tend to assume, they won't pay at all. I think God was showing me, they would pay, they are just a few days late.

Kicking people out without checking first sounds pretty evil, especially over Christmas. Sometimes bank systems have problems that delay money transfers.

Prophecy was typically done with ritual and material practice.

If you believe that you're clairvoyant or something, fine.

But it wouldn't be "prophecy."

I guess intuition can be a form of prophecy, especially in modern times, when people usually have no time to think.

God wasn't showing you anything, prophecies are all made up. If they aren't going to pay you then I would consider kicking them out.
