This girl came into my work the other morning and we seemed to hit it off right away. She was very friendly and sweet, beautiful, very fit looking, about 30. She had a sweatshirt on, with big letters across the front that said "Got Jesus?" or "Get Jesus". Now I don't go for all that holy hogwash, so when I read that Jesus business I was disappointed and thought to myself "oh well". I would still date or be in a relationship with a woman who is religious, but in my experience women are less forgiving about that sort of thing.

I was not very religious but my wife was Catholic and fairly religious. It never was an issue. She sort of walked away from it what the pervert priest scandal erupted. I know cops from all over the state and more than once guys would tell me about priests molesting little kids. I told my wife about this and she got angry with me and did not believe it. When the story broke she walked away from the church. I tell her that I feel bad because the church was a big part of her life that got messed up.

I am not religious. I have my own spiritual leanings that have nothing to do with gods or religion.

I would date someone who believed in God, no problem. But I wouldn't get along with someone who was devoutly religious. They have too many rules and hang ups.

It's comforting to hope that we will see loved ones again and spend a blissful eternity. But I suspect that we just die like everything else.

Any deity who wants to judge me is a dick. I have regrets and judge myself plenty, but anything I regret was done out of ignorance and not meanness, so I don't condemn myself. I just enjoyed the gift of life, learned my lessons, and did the best I could.

Funerals are for the bereaved not the dead person. I would like to be wrapped in a cotton, shroud and buried in the ground to decompose, like the way Muslims do it. I would like a headstone. I designed a real nice one for my parents. And maybe plant a tree over me. Fuck grave liners and expensive coffins.

I am religious and wouldn't date someone who isn't religious. Mainly because it's considered a sin. But personally, I am able to get along well with people of differing beliefs and actually prefer a bit of friction to keep discussions interesting. Except its harder to raise children when religions differ.

I dated a religous guy once when I was young at the time I was engaged to him that guy left me. I has hurt devestated I didn't even sleep for nights. now... for some people, it is VERY important that their partners share their same religion outlook in this life and that's just fine with me, but obviously... I can't be that, so I would just not consider it and nor would they, lol... which is also fine too

I'm an Atheist. I couldn't be in a relationship with anyone who is devoutly religious. I consider those people dumber than a bag of rocks and weak. I just don't respect them. There would be constant friction between their "beliefs" and my adherence to reality. I can tolerate them in a social circle with very little contact. But I don't want them as friends or a romantic partner.

I would be very intentional about why I was dating her, which would be to move towards marriage, the purpose of which is to generate children. And my intention would be to raise them in the Catholic Faith.
