You can plant a seed in soil, give it water and give it sunlight. That is how trees exist.
I don’t see how trees proves the existence of God.

I don’t see how trees proves the existence of God.
That argument has been repeated to them since they were quite young. We mostly understand how complex organisms appeared after hundreds of millions of years of evolution, but we don't know how the Universe exists at all. There's still no physical evidence for God, and claiming that the Universe must have been designed by some external consciousness is "The God of the Gaps": "I don't know how this happened, so it must have been created by God."
If God created all of creation, that includes a scientific method. God would never create a system that disproves him. I want science to keep digging to find out how God did what he did.
There is no evidence whatsoever that evolution could have occurred on its own. Creation is God's General revelation. I don't know that God will reveal himself to science at some point. As we discover electricity and nuclear fusion, he already is.
@Sal_Monella There is evidence of evolution everywhere. It's well understood. I think what you meant to say is "We don't know exactly how life began on Earth", which is true. Not knowing is not evidence for God or anything else. It's simply not knowing. Even if there is a God, all religions, current and past, are clearly mythical.
There was no reason or evidence to believe to that the creation of life just happened. There is no evidence to support that. There is no reason to believe that evolution is the ascent of Life as Darwin described it. They have to be believed on faith.
I will give you the definition of an hypothesis:
*A supposition or proposed explanation made on the basis of limited evidence as a starting point for further investigation: At a minimum, evolution is an hypothesis. An hypothesis is a notion.
I'll give you the definition of a theory:
*A scientifically acceptable or plausible general principle or body of principles based on data and offered to explain phenomena. There are no proven principles, supported by date supporting evolution. It has to be believed on faith.
At absolute best evolution is a theory only because of plausibility. In order for the emergence or evolution of life to be fact, it has to to be data derived from repetition. Theoretical physic had a theory nuclear fission. if nothing else, It was proven at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Of course there was testing beforehand. Up until it was produced physically it was only a theory.
Fundamentalist Christians, which I am not one of, 7 day creation is just as plausible.
@Sal_Monella tell me you don't understand evolution without...
Tell me your mind is locked.
@Sal_Monella There is overwhelming evidence that evolution occurred and is continuing. This is fundamental to biological science, and is undisputed except by people who feel it contradicts their religious beliefs. Darwin's Theory of Evolution is not a theory that evolution happened, any more than Newton's Theory of Gravity was a theory that gravity existed. Both are explanations for observed occurrences.
What evidence is that?
I've never heard about this tree deal
I have heard religious people say things like all things have a creator and the trees, the animals and the universe are gods creations and proof God exists
Religious or not, I'll tell you what people know- we know approximately jack shit. Every time we think we understand the universe, space, atomic and subatomic physics, a new discovery proves everybody wrong. We're hairless apes, we never should have made it past the cave or the hut stage in technological progress or evolution. We exist merely to exist. Everybody is trying to put too much mustard on the hotdog of life
They are right.
@Sal_Monella You said everything has a creator. What or who created God then?
God does not do anything without purpose. I believe that the Chicxulub meteor was his doing. God showed that he was done with $150 million years dinosaurs and was ready for the next step.
We know quite a lot. The theory of Quantum Electrodynamics explains almost everything we experience except gravity, and is central to the creation of the devices that allow us to have this discussion. Newton's theory of gravity, updated by General Relativity, allows us to predict the motions of heavenly bodies with great precision -- we can predict eclipses to the second, and allows us to send space probes to visit multiple planets. What we don't know is more of intellectual interest than practical application.
@Sal_Monella nobody is right, dude. We know approximately jack about shit when it comes to the grand scheme of things. People can say life evolved from this or that, that a god or alien brought life to this planet, etc etc. It's all just speculation, which is bullshit.

Because trees have a way of life so coincidental that it proves a great mind designed it, all the coincidences for life in general to exist requires such a precise balance that it's easy to assume that it was design purposely rather than accidental, how what you breathe out is what plants breathe in and what you breathe in is what plants breathe out, the precise percentages of gases that make the air that you breathe actually breathable, if there was 1 percent more of oxygen in the air, you'd overdose, how all the minerals in the planet keep you alive, water itself speaks wonders, how the body heals itself, actually wood is actually one of the rarest things in the universe because of how hard it is to form because it requires such a perfect environment to even have the ability to exist, but here we are with that perfect balance, I guess we can try and understand how it all formed from a germ.
Several possibilities but not the tree alone A. The interaction of trees with bees and oxygen. Indicated a creator of a planned system. B. Trees need bees so can't evolve alone unless a wise creator planned a system. C. as chico said here: trees need our co2 and we need tree breath called oxygen that is a planned system by a wise creator god.
Because like you, a "seed" doesn't have a brain. Yet it's a complex system that functions to produce a whole organism, which then goes on to produce seeds.
The process occurring "by chance" is mathematically impossible.
Also, God doesn't require "proof" he is not a theory or even within the purview of science. It's a different worldview.
Who else could create such an amazing organism that is in balance with the living creatures that surround it?
All of Creation proves the existence of The Creator. You can't have a creation, without a creator. That's the rules.
Who has ever said that besides you?
Before I posted this question I have heard religious people say things life all things have a creator and the trees, animals and universe are gods creations and proof God exists.
Seeds have life and they grow.
Stop troll.
