If Israel is the Jewish promised land, why don’t all Jews live there?

I don't get it.. If they say the now so called israel is their promised land and that only them should live there , why are they still living in other places in the world? If they say they have suffered a lot and payed a lot to have their own jewish state , why do they leave it?

In the case of the occupying state of Israel. It is still an ongoing genocide and land theft situation. Whereas in America's case all the genocide and land theft has already been done, and it now exports that violence.

T. B. H. Most jews are secular. Around 80% of jews in Israel + half of reform jews in u. S. believed god isn't real. Indirectly that means they only have a history claim to the land. They don't believed god gave it because god isn't real for them.
