we have seen how they have bombarded civilians in Gaza, occupied palestine, started war with Lebanon and now Iran (starting with blowing up a school full of young girls) and one can go and on...

Long long time ago a moment in time they might have been for a split second in that moment of time. They were one with God but they lost that connection I cannot speak for God but if anybody was going to represent him it sure not to churches it would have to be Ethiopia and their people it would have to be You In This Moment first of all you have to understand what a chosen one means truly means

Us this question to open everybody's eyes because Israel has taken the wrong path a long long time ago they are liars cheaters and thieves they have everybody believing something that they're not and they use it to get what they want

Everything that has happened in the world I would love to know Truly Who's the one that Drew up the blueprints and did it and also who are the ones that blamed other people for it to take the focus off of who really did it

If you're a God's child If you believe in God you believe in Jesus Christ You can be a chosen one But only in the moment that you're representing And then it disappears It's just like everything else in this world we have free will There's one girl on here she is chosen every day Because she speaks God's words every single day

Or she brings God in Jesus into light to make us all think about who we are where we are what we're doing what we're not doing who we're becoming and it's just like your question for that Split Second that you ask this question you were a Chosen One and will continue to be a chosen one every time that you bring light to Jesus to God

God is not going to Have one country speak for him represent him And especially not Israel Israel is darker than Most can even imagine I would bet To get what they want but the country didn't stayed most loyal is Ethiopian they have not changed one word of the Bible they have all the stories of the Bible still intact as one it reads a lot different than the real Bible even the New Testament and whoever wrote those they're bad people for the lies that have been Rewritten

But I don't have the answer the only thing I can say is what I believe it shows of one is and that's everybody and when you step into that Realm of showing giving light to God and Jesus and you are speaking the truth as you know it you become chosen I believe but it's up to you to keep carrying it on and carrying it on and carrying it on we are all sinners so it's hard to do

Let's not mixing up things, religions and politics. In my opinion being called "God's chosen people" does not mean literally chosen by some hypothetical God, but symbolically people having chosen and accepted a particular way of life, where everything and every action is sanctified in order to live a better and peaceful life within a closed society.

In the world of politics, business and greed, human lifes do sadly never count, whatever country or people starts waging useless wars. Violence only generates more violence, and not a single country implicated is innocent.

Everything that's going on starts with education. Feelings of hate against other cultures are transmitted to children by, for instance, making funny observations about the others, and telling how bad they are. Later in life such negative values will generally prevail, the more when greed and jealousy are added to the mixture...

The first step towards peace starts with stopping teaching hate to kids of whatever origin.

Chosen does not mean great or approved. In the case of Israel, being chosen was in spite of their flaws.

You don’t need to even look at modern history for examples. Their own holy book documents their failings over the millennia in excruciating detail. Rather than romanticizing the past as most cultures do, all of their blemishes are made plain. This is nothing new.

So some are chosen because of their lack of greatness, not because of it. The real question is what are they chosen for?

... then again, me NOT being either Arab or Jew... I never did understand why the Jews were god's chosen people (although Jesus was a Jew, and that might have something to do with it)?

If you read the bible you can see the Ancient Israelites committing atrocities against the Canaanites including slaughtering entire civilian population and taking women and children as captives. For the record, I'm not saying I think this justifies it (I'm 100% against what Israel is doing) and the conquest of Canaan as described is contradicted by the archaeological record. I'm just explaining how someone can still think that the people of Israel are "God's Chosen People" and still commit the atrocities that they do.
