Do you believe in fortune telling and why or why not?

I do to an extent. I think there are people who are fraudulent and practice with malice. But I do believe that some people can predict the future. My grandmother could predict things, especially about personal life, and everything would come true. My mom and I also have this, but I will say mine is really watered down in comparison haha. Our family calls it the Second Sight, and its been in the family, according to journals, for generations. I will have moments where I have deja-vu, but like on the daily. Ill be talking to someone about some topic, especially a topic I haven't discussed/been privy to in years, and then later that day that topic will appear. It happens ALL the time, and its weird.

An example of this the other day was that I was listening to my Spotify playlist at work, and then a remix of a Hercules "Go the distance" came up in my 'recommended'. I saved it to my playlist and was listening to it on repeat for the afternoon. I haven't seen that movie, or listened to the music, for years. Then when I returned home that night, my roommates were watching Hercules: The Animated Series. I asked them why they were watching it, and they said that one of their parents found it and gifted it to them earlier that day.

Yesterday I was driving to work, and I saw a brand new Porsche. It reminded me of the vintage Porsche 912 my dad had when I was little. Then when I was driving home that night, a 912 pulled up beside me at the intersection, and it was the exact same colour as my dad's, a pale blue. It freaks me out sometimes... my family says its a form of "seeing".

I had a dream warning me about a woman I never met and I did not meet the person I was warned about in my dream until around 10 or 11 years ago. I also received a warning in a dream about another woman I have yet to meet, but I have already decided if I ever meet the woman I was warned about in my dream, I will immediately block her and warn my family about her.

There's no evidence that it works. It's just cold reading. Search for "wikipedia cold reading" to find out how it works. They say something vague that fits every person in the world, like "I see travel in your future" and the mark says "Yes! I'm going to..."

So the fortune teller doesn't know anything except what the mark tells them.

No, because God warns to stay away from these, as a lot of times they are getting their information from darkness, not the light. God doesn't need a fortune teller to pass along information. If God needs to tell you something he can send an angel to give you the message because they are God's messengers.

I believe in everything until it's disproved. Some tellers are obviously smoke and mirrors but there is a science to it.
