Is children’s joy connected to spiritual uprightness and obeying God’s laws?

Not all children are happy, but a notable percentage of young toddlers are extremely happy, as well as early childhood students.

I believe one possible reason so many children are more joyful than adults, is that children might be more upright when they are young.

The bible says babies are born spiritually upright, but once we reach adulthood, less than one in two thousand are upright.

A lot of children might be happier than adults because they are better at obeying the 10 commandments than adults: they obey the rule against adultery, the rule against harming others, the rules against competition and vanity and bullying etc…
