... or any of the so-called "New Atheists"?
A number of years ago, I bought a copy of The God Delusion. I wanted to read it to see what they were thinking. I wasn't much of a reader back then and I was also incredibly busy at that point with my job (I worked a lot of overtime... and I do mean a... LOT). Then I got married and had my first kid, then I took my catechism courses, then I had more kids, and now, well, here we are nearly ten years later and it's just been sitting on my bookshelf. It's taking up space and have a bunch of other books I want to read. The couple of brief snippets that I did read basically amounted to "pfff, WHATEVER!" And then there's to consider that Dick Dawkins now seems to be regretting his earlier work, calling himself a "cultural Christian" upon seeing what's been replacing Christianity in Britain.
But maybe I'm wrong? Is it still worth reading at this point?
