I snapped at a coworker and now feel like a bad Christian—how awful was I?

I got little upset at this guy coworker and when he said have a good one I replied back and said have a bad one….. he went told my friend how he didn’t think I’d say something like that especially for someone who goes to church, is that quite awful? I feel embarrassed

I'm assuming that you meant it as a joke? Sounds about like something I'd say, to be honest. I'll ask if someone at work is having a good day and then I'll ask if there's anything I can do to ruin it...or make it worse 😆

At any rate, one instance doesn't make someone a bad Christian. Patterns of behavior do.

Maybe. But the only way for me to determine that is for you to tell me exactly what he said and did that see you off. There’s a very good chance I wouldn’t blame you.

Just like for instance we had 2 people leave at lunch in my area and I guess the fact that I stayed instead of telling me I will have to do the other job he goes and says “ you been promoted” and just continues to stare at me I’m like wym by promoted and anyways the process lead walked behind and asked me to do the other job he just had to say promoted which is quite offensive bc

On the other hand, you were fairly nice in what you said to him. You didn’t call him a motherfucker or anything. So I think it’s all good.
