This is the premise for the movie Bruce Almighty. A disgruntled man meets God in person and is given all of his powers for one week.

What would you do if God gave YOU his power for one week?

I'd erase all traces of religion and God forever. Set people free from manipulation using the promise of eternal bliss and the threat of eternal torture. See if they can develop morality for its own sake. Or not.

I'd establish navigable wormholes throughout the universe.

I'd bring back Jethro Tull and Credence Clearwater Revival.

I'd make cantaloupes and honeydew melons ripen perfectly every time.

And I would end the missing sock in the dryer problem.

I'd erase the very concept of being against abortion.

i would send a protected prophet to say 'which religion i wanted'. not just have billions of people thinking 'they obey me' when i only want one of them. or i would specify do any of them.

That would make a lot of people very happy!

I'd stop people getting sick. Getting sick is a waste of time and resources and nobody likes it. I'd still have people die of old age, it's important to recycle the population every so often.
