What's love got to do with it, why it so important?

Listen and watch most any 9/11 video or audio... or end of life.

They all express love for others. It's the important thing at end of life. This is what Jesus taught, to do in daily life.

Why is it so important? Is it something we should focus on more often?

I don't appreciate when people who were horrible in life are suddenly saints just because they die. Not 9/11 specifically, but you see this all the time in news story. “He was a bright angel in our lives...” when all he did was lie, cheat and steal and everyone hated him -- and vice-versa. It diminishes the importance of truly great people.

This happened in a different way when Dolly Parton just died. She was a very good musician and entertainer and a very nice and kind person -- as are many, many people who never get any recognition. But she wasn't the second coming the way everyone suddenly made her out to be just because she had died. It was sad, and a great loss for her family and friends, but enough with the hyperbole and exaggeration, especially by people who never knew her personally.

If you know you are almost certainly facing death, you know you only have minutes/a few hours to live. So you must use that time wisely.

You don't want your family's last memory of you to be a rant about hateful Muslims/Jews, do you?

You want your last message to be one that they will carry with them for as long as they all will live...
