Christianity or islam?

Atheist here. Though one of my favorite people was a Muslim psychologist who ran the Judaism discussion forum on a website I used to go to and always tried to understand everyone's perspective, I think Christianity is better for the planet... mostly because Christians are much less likely to take their religion seriously, and I think that's good. I think the idea religious belief is as close as possible to my mother's. She went to a funeral one time and was surprised that Christianity had so much to do with Jesus to some people. Her view of Christianity is basically just that Jesus loves us all and she makes up her own moral code. I like when people make up their own moral codes because they'll be a lot less likely to be obsolete, unlike the stuff from religious texts that may well have worked great countless centuries before but was made for a different time.
