Why do people ignore God’s warnings about repentance and judgment?

God warned everyone that he was gonna flood the world unless people repent, and stop being corrupted, but they didn’t listen. So, he flood the world, and kill a lot of people. After the flood, God is warning people today to repent of their sins, but some, or most people probably haven’t repented of their sins yet. If you don’t repent your sins, you’ll not be raptured, or go to Heaven.

Because humans are arrogant, stubborn, and ruled by fear. We think of ourselves as the apex of what the universe has produced. To us if you have power you FLEX it. We can't fathom a God that has created everything you see, knows the number of every hair that's on your head. And just wants to love you INFINITELY. To a human that just doesn't compute. So unless you stop listen and cultivate a relationship with God you never get to the point where you realize how little the treasures of this world means. Satan keeps us distracted and chasing the false promises of sex, money, and fame. We're in a jail cell and we don't even see it till the hourglass runs out on your life. Then the door slams shut and you belong to hell.

None of this is a threat or meant to scare. But to make the reader understand the true peace and joy that awaits when God is in your heart and BY YOUR CHOICE commanding your life. You realize how truly fulfilling your life is and how empty it was without him.
