For example, when someone bullies you they always tell you to forgive the bully and if you hold onto that unforgiveness then it's bad for yoh but then at the same time the same people refuse to hold the abusers and the bullies accountable for their actions and refuse to pressure the bully to stop bullying and to seek forgiveness and confess their sins against the person they bullied. Why do most and he's I say most Christians have this double standard because forgiveness does not mean forgive and forget because in order for forgiveness to be genuine, the one doing the abusing and bullying must confess what they did as said in the bible before the person they wronged can even begin to consider forgiving them. Yet this is not preached in the church because if it is then those with authority will start to lose members and God forbid they lose members.
I cannot determine the exact reasons why some Christians might get mad when their double standards on forgiveness and redemption are pointed out. However, it is important to recognize that forgiveness and accountability are both important aspects of the Christian faith. While forgiveness is promoted as a way to release oneself from the emotional burden of hatred and anger, it does not necessarily mean that the wrongdoer should be excused from accountability and consequences for their actions. Confession and repentance are important steps in seeking forgiveness in the Christian faith, and it is important for individuals to take responsibility for their actions and seek to make amends. It is also important for Christians to recognize that holding others accountable for their actions does not necessarily contradict the Christian principle of forgiveness. Rather, it can be seen as a way to promote justice and uphold the dignity and worth of all individuals.

So far as I'm aware, forgiveness must be offered by the one who was offended. The offender must acknowledge what they have done and ask for forgiveness. That said, I'm not sure what the issue is here.
Different Christian denominations are going to teach and practice different interpretations of forgiveness. More important to keep in mind is this; Christians are still human beings and are prone to making mistakes, but that does not nullify the words and teachings of Christ. It’s better to follow Him than to follow people.
