The first karma law is if you take something that does not belong to you, you will lose the thing you took, and the benefits you got from taking it.
The second karma law is if you suffer small and unwanted losses on a regular basis, you will not suffer huge and dangerous losses on an infrequent basis.
An example would be, somebody who gets minor sickness every year or month of their life, but never gets severe or agonizing sickness in any decade of their life.
Or, somebody that has to put up with an annoying family member who tells immature jokes everyday, will not have to deal with marital cheating, divorce or family deaths in the near future.

No, I don’t believe in karma laws that claim people’s suffering is always deserved or caused by their past actions. Sometimes bad things happen simply because life is unpredictable, not because the person did something wrong.
