I think the interpretations of “cruel and unusual” have gone far too broad. Deliberate torture notwithstanding, i don’t care about how cruel executions are. In fact, i’m quite certain that if executions were deliberately brutal, publicly presented, and required for every violent felon to attend, we could cut down on violent crime significantly in this country.
Maybe we should let cops volunteer for the job and cut down on trigger happy pigs in our streets.
I think he should be hanged but the fact that he’s in a wheelchair will make that difficult. Getting him up on a platform, he can’t stand on the trapdoor, making a custom gallows to accommodate a wheelchair, etc etc. Rolling him out in front of a wall or dirt burm and blasting him is much easier. They could sit him in an electric chair, that would be easy.
If the person being executed agrees, then go ahead and the people who have to be outraged by everthing can exercise their right to not watch and stop acting like someone is trying to force them to.

Considering the lethal injection has failed a few times, I think it's fine.
