I have an older sister (15 years my senior) who only hits me up when she wants money…. literally! Or simply when she wants something from me. It hasn’t always been this way, but for the past year or so I’m always the one initiating contact and most of the time she never answers or returns my calls/texts. I get ignored, but as soon as one of her bills are due or she claims she’s in need she will quickly pick up the phone and won’t hesitate to ask (constantly by the way). She didn’t even call on my birthday to wish me a happy birthday and that was like the icing on the cake for me. In a situation like this I won’t lie it hurts because I thought my sister and I were close, but apparently not. She even went as far as to tell me she doesn’t care about my boyfriend. That comment hurt because usually I can confide in her about my relationship but I don't know what made her not care anymore. It’s been almost 2 months now and she just hit me up today to ask if I could un cancel my Netflix so she could watch. Not a “how are you?”, “how’s life?”, or nothing just can I have, can I have, can I have! I’m at my wits end and although it sucks and it’s hurtful, I’m ready to cut the line and say you know what I tried but this is toxic and it’s not worth it because I do feel like it’s a one sided relationship. My question is should I? Or what would you do in a situation like this?

I AM DONE. So her and I met up yesterday because it was our day off. She had sympathy for the death of my grandparents. So we went to the movies because she wanted to cheer me up and not sulk and mope all day and it won't do any good.
After the move and lunch we went to the ice cream place and she looked at me. She got frustrated and scolded, “Why do you still look moody? Is this what your grandpa would have wanted? To be sad all the time and cry? I am trying VERY VERY VERY hard to cheer you up and you don’t seem to appreciate! Look people die. We’re not going to be around forever. We’re NOT! At least show some appreciation and buck up. BUCK THE HELL UP!!!” And she shoved me and stormed off to the bathroom.”
I was shocked and everyone say the whole thing and looked at me. I just put my head down. Then I got so angry and when she came outside when she saw me with my things I scolded what the hell is her problem and screaming at me when I just lost my grandpa last week was uncalled for and very insensitive. Then she yelled, “Okay? What did you expect me to say? It’s the truth which you are too immature to handle. That I’m sorry for your loss? People die so there’s no use of crying! He’s dead he was old! He isn’t coming back GET OVER IT ALREADY!! And shoved me.
I went off on her, “That does it! I have had it with you!!! I’ve had a lot of insensitive people in some of my family and I don’t need this shit from you! You’re supposed to be my friend but I guess you don’t know how a damn thing about being one and empathy! Next time you see me, don’t look at me, you see my number, don’t call me, lastly don’t even come near me because this friendship is OVER! I AM DONE!” I grabbed my things, purposely numbed into her and left just in time for my Uber life to take me home.
I don’t know what she did after but I didn’t care.

Last year I moved to a new city and starting hanging out with an acquaintance and her friends group. In this group there was the cutest boy and there was quite a spark, from his behavior I would have guessed it was mutual. However the group dynamic was very heavy, it turned out that many girls in the group were after him and in particular my acquaintance was obsessed with him. One day I noticed she overheard us talking about going for a drink just the two of us and after that she never invited me again to join the group for months. At the same time, he became very cold with me and eventually stopped replying to my messages, and I now suspect it was her who told him lies about me. Lately I had an enlightening talk with her best friend who told me that she was behaving completely crazy with him and that she was literally stalking him (picking him up at work etc) and that he was so mad at her that he left the group and ghosted everyone in it to cut ties with her completely.

I had moved on as I really thought he had stopped talking to me because I was annoying him. Recently I met a cute boy but since he’s in my life, all my brain is able to do is comparing him with this other boy and think that he was the right one. I don’t know if I should try to get back in contact with him.
