Why is Cannabis illegal but other drugs aren’t?

Why are we controlled with what drugs we take? Why can’t I smoke cannabis here and there but Susan can eat herself to death? From sugar to coffee, fast food/processed foods, fats… things that can actually end up killing people…
But in 1937 the Marijuana tax was passed by the give because it was seen as a danger to the public.
but why?
Or was it just a try for a power grab from Anslinger? He was a racist who would call it marijuana, the mexican term, where he’d continue to say things like “marijuana makes the N******* think they’re as good as white men”. He tied his racist views and cannabis to reach the masses. Looking back, you’ll also learn fake news is not a new thing…
This is where the hate of marijuana first came from… from a man who said marijuana worse than cocain, morphine and even heroine.
Medical men and scientists have even proven all his claims to be wrong.

Here is a quote from Anslinger himself, “There are 100,000 total marijuana smokers in the US, and most are N*******, Hispanics, Filipinos and entertainers. Their Satanic music, jazz and swing, result from marijuana usage. This marijuana causes white women to seek sexual relations with N*******, entertainers and any others.”

My take is it was used for a power grab, a money grab campaign, to hate on those who were easily hated and to link an “extremely dangerous” drug to those easily hated which would drive the masses to hate it too.
To this day there are no recorded deaths from it, not something you can overdose on.

OBECITY and being overweight is the second leading cause to a preventable death. With numbers ranging from hundreds of thousands to millions dying each year.
