28F, I just came back from a convention where I met a good amount of famous people (even some men from my favorite shows, band etc) & I was pretty laxed. For the most part they were all attractive, at times I had a hard time making eye contact but got better as I met more people. But for the average “fan girl” I was pretty chill, now why is it when I meet average men in my caliber I get so tense? They’re not nearly as wealthy, well known & while a few average men I met were decent looking they’re no where close to the celebs looks wise. I know it’s b/c it’s a superficial interaction & will become nothing more with the celebs, there’s nothing riding on it vs meeting men from the dating apps & potentially being in a LTR with one. The day before the convention I was talking to someone from the dating app for about 2 weeks & it was going okay but when we met in person I just wasn’t feeling it, was there about 15 min but dipped out b/c the drinks were taking too long & I didn’t want him to spend money on me, waste each other’s time & I had a long day. Being as old as I am & still never have been in a LTR is a red flag, especially when it’s conflicting since people say you’re attractive but men don’t notice you 🤷🏻‍♀️

So he keeps flipping back and forth on where / when we'll meet.

When we first started talking it was I can come to his place anytime we wanted. And after meeting he kept that as well. I thought this guy was like a serious partner and now I'm honestly beginning to wonder what's honesty and what's a bunch of hogwash with the guy.

It's not even been 5 days since our last meet up and he constantly flips back and forth on the follow up. Some times indicates he wants to get an airbnb, other time sure we can meet at his house.

And it's getting annoying because it's like he's expecting friends with benefits - something I've never done & have no interest in and SAID early.

I like a guy at work, coincidentally he worked in front of me for 3-4 days a month and half ago. I didn’t like him during that time but once I began like him, I found out he works in other separate area not where I work at.

so my plan to make him my friend working together failed.

we don’t cross paths so it’s difficult try talk to him. He seems shy , walking alone no friends reserved.

the last time he worked near me I felt him look at me and when I turned to look at him he quickly looked down at the floor. So our eyes didn’t meet.

I also don’t see girls walking with him or approaching him. I’m shy myself so I’m also not walking with a guy or anything.

it’s been a while since I’ve seen him and I can’t be around him so he notice me more and look at each other. Only way this can happen is if I talk to him myself.
or shud I not talk to him never and stay single and sad& continuework and day dream of this guy I like a lot in my head?

there’s many men daily at job like 100 but I only like him. Or is it true only men need make first move or else they don’t like you enough?
