On one hand, atheism and agnosticism have risen over the last 100-200 years. And this has coincided with the rise of political ideologies. Based on this, do you think political ideologies are just new forms of religion? Like religions, they are based on sacred beliefs (which seem like truths to devout believers), hating non-believers (look at all the hate that Trump and Biden believe) and they even limit critical and rational thought (such as strongly disliking something that the president we oppose does when a president we support does the exact same thing, such as giving pardons or raising budget deficits).
