What WILL happen when President Trump defies Federal Court orders?

A little background.

Article II, Section 1, Clause 1:
The executive Power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America.

Under Article II, Section 1, Clause 1, all executive power is vested only in a single person—the President of the United States. According to the Constitution, no court, legislature, agency or other person has any direct power or authority over The President or its Executive Branch, acting within its Constitutional functions. Further, the President is not subordinate to his Cabinet or its agencies, except under Amendment 25, and that is a very complicated process. Full stop.

The Supreme Court or inferior courts can rule on the Constitutionality of an Executive Action and issue orders of remedy. But even then, The Executive does not have to comply. Recall Biden regarding forgiving student loans. I hate to admit that he was within his authority not to comply.

Even if he had to, How would any court force The President to comply or punish him for not doing so? How many US Marshalls or Military Divisions does the DOJ have? They are all under the authority of The Executive Branch. Full stop again.

The only remedy left to constrain the President is Impeachment. With majorities in both houses, how far would that go? I would advise President Trump to defy and ignore all inferior court rulings. If they actually made it to the Supreme Court, it might be worthwhile to plea bargain to a reasonable settlement, if that's even possible. Otherwise, Full Stop.

While we are a relatively young country in founding we do have the oldest standing constitution government. Our strongest strength is balance of powers. The senate, house and Supreme court. While the president is important single body they are controlled by our three pillars.

We are in the cross roads where people think the president has unilateral control.

We are two supreme court picks from a dictatorship. While the supreme court can say no. Its The house and senate that have any meaningful power. If they do nothing nothing will happen which has been the case in the first term of this president. So ultimately nothing.

There'll be lots of court proceedings as lawyers get rich arguing the finer points of the constitution and if it really means what it says. It'll cost millions, tie up a. lot of time, but at the end of the day nothing will happen.
