the tariffs are still there, but they have an expiration date. so instead he's found a workaround for a 10% tariff for 150 days. it sounds like he'll keep changing the percentage until he's gone. the cap is 15%. so 10 = 150, 11 = 300, 12 = 450, 13 = 600, 14 = 750, 15 = 900 days he can do this before having a meaningless effect. 365/900? that's close to the end of his term. but with the other tariffs expiring this is going to hurt a lot less so no one is that worried. at least that is what i've gathered.
