me and my partner are in in our early thirties and his adopted sister is in her mid teens. i just dont know, whenever he mentions her name i get this odd rushed feeling going through me. and i know im not insecure im the least insecure person there is. and his adopted sister behavior towards me is extremely odd its like she crushes on him and she just hates me cause im with him or something. he frequently talks about her which has nothing to do with our life or our goals together for the future.

if i talk to him about it will seem extremely odd on my part and make me seem crazy. i feel this situation is extremely complicated. iv had other relationships and they weren’t nothing like this.

Well I can say you’re not a idiot and you’re noticing odd behavior at least from her. If she acted just like his sister that would be one thing but it’s common for step siblings and adopted siblings to have relations with one another I’m not saying it’s right but it happens not always but it does.

If he is doing anything with her as she’s underage that would be very predatory behavior. But I think you need to communicate as long as you’re not suspecting him of anynring communication is key in relationships including having hard conversations. When you are uncomfortable or have insecurities (that all relationships have at some point) it needs to be communicated between both people so it doesn’t come out in toxic ways later or just flat out blowing up.

If you suspect anything is going on even if it could be innocent enough. Document everything and report it to law enforcement

There’s nothing happening with his sister and if you keep insisting otherwise then get ready for you jealousy to screw you over. If you wanna ruin your relationship then keep poking the bear, keep making weird accusations and trying to drive a wedge between him and his sibling.
