Like on apps they can’t maintain interest for more than a couple messages. I think they’re waiting for some footballer to show interest in them.

Hoping while wasting other people’s time giving them false hope too

So on Friday I was at a tattoo shop waiting for my artist to wave me in and as I was sitting two girls came and started chatting blah blah blah and One of them looked like someone I went to Highschool with. Her friend went with her artist and the girl that looked like someone I knew sat down one seat away from me.
I decided it wouldn’t hurt to ask so I turned over to her and said “hey is your name Natalie?”
She said “no”
And I said “oh sorry you look like someone I went to Highschool with” and I turned forward ending the conversation.
A few minutes later my artist came over with an iPad for me to fill out some info. I started filling out the information and her friend came back over and all I heard was “creepy” I turned over and they were looking at me.

In my opinion I didn’t think it was creepy at all. I literally asked If her name was Natalie and than apologized when I realized she wasn’t the same girl I went to Highschool and ended the conversation. But if I was please inform me.

You're waiting in line at the grocery store, coffee shop, airline counter, etc. You turn around, and the man behind you, a total stranger, says "you have very nice hair, very pretty." He smiles and says nothing else.
