Guys, What would you guys feel if a girl you’re interested texts you to meet up?

Heya everyone,

so there’s this guy I know for many years now. He seem to be interested in me, not liking or loving. He just wants to learn more about me. And so am I. For the last month we’ve been talking to each other and I want to meet him. It’s a bit hard to meet up as we live in two different cities, pretty far away from one another.

As I am a stupid shit who has too much proudness to tell him straight that I want to see him I came up with an incredible plan 😂

I asked one of my besties to come with me to his city for the weekend and I wanted to text him to let him know that my friend is going to his city and that she is the one who asked me to join her lol. It would be my excuse to ask him if he’s got some free time or wants us to meet up. Depending on his answers I’ll know if I should wait for him or it’s a waste of time.

Help I’m screaming, I hate lying but I can’t bring myself to text him without an excuse because I have the feeling he’ll think I’m an easy girl or too desperate for his attention.

How would you guys feel about that? Considering the fact that I know he’s interested from our past conversations. He’s a bit of traditional type of guy if you know what I’m saying. And his opinion really matters.

( Or imagine even if you’re not interested but the girl with whom you speak for almost two months texts you and tells you to meet up, how would you feel? )

I am really putting an effort in this instead of sitting and waiting to get a text from him. I kinda feel he’s a slow starter so I want to give a hand lol.

I think you're taking a great initiative! You are showing that you are interested.
Personally I would be elated that a girl I was talking to was being proactive and inviting me out, I'd overthink about asking her out.

I did text him in the night and we planned to meet up. Honestly it was an excuse to text him so I was afraid he wouldn't create a conversation but when I said good night, he insisted in talking more so we ended up talking the whole night lol.

Most guys I’m sure would be excited and immediately go for it. I on the other hand would tell them I’m not interested. That I’d rather stay home with my cat. To tell you the truth I probably wouldn’t be talking to them in the first place.

Oh that’s sad. I hope you’ll get healed from what is hurting you. Self love comes first ❤️ i don’t know what’s the problem, but don’t give up on love just because someone didn’t understand your kind of love. You’ll find someone who deserves you. Take a good care of yourself.

Well when you’ve been cheated on in all of your past experiences you start to believe that every one you end up in they’ll end the same way. Also I doubt you’ve ever been falsely accused and served an ex parte PPO which means you can end up in jail for no good reason other than they call the police like a Karen. After all of that I don’t think any man would want to find someone. And to be honest no one deserves me. They’ll be fucking miserable 🤣 I’ll be sure of that.
