For this, i want both sides to be brutally honest, so I will, too. I'm an ex alcoholic who had significant emotional issues for years that was caused by me having a bad, negative attitude. That out of the way, I wonder where the disconnect occurrs with men not sharing their emotions with women. Such as what I just did, a hardship of addiction caused by my own bad, irresponsible decisions, fault of nobody except myself, but this is vulnerability to let it go. Maybe one of you guys lost someone you cared about, someone moved away and you miss them, you feel stuck, you want to travel, and you think nobody cares about your happiness, so you suck it up and keep working. Men, is this what you're doing? Are you keeping everything that hurts you inside because you think nobody cares and will see you as weak? Ladies, if a man is doing this, perhaps a man you love is keeping his tears in, should he continue? Would you care if he sat down and told you? Guys, if you're hiding, press "yes". I met with my family for Christmas and my brother and his wife brought over their first baby. I was happy to be there and meet him but I wasn't as emotionally moved as my parents or my other siblings. I've always been on the fence about wanting kids myself but I didn't feel too strongly and I feel bad about it and don't want to offend anyone by coming off as uncaring

As the title asks - How did your kids finally find out about the truth about how Santa works and what age were they when they found out?

Did they find out on their own? Others tell them like their classmates or family members? Or with today’s technology - indoor cameras - did they catch Santa without the infamous red and white hat coat and pants?

I ask because…. I blew it! I’ve never felt so bad in my life! I fell asleep and then my son woke me up with the most disappointed face ever …. but he wasn’t crying. But I completely broke down because I failed him. 💔💔💔😢😢😢 I failed him as a father. I sent him to the bathroom and then the Santa haul was brought out. When he came out he saw it all and realized. But he thanked me all the same. Even though he now knows, he still wants to continue Santa. I don’t blame him one bit. I also told him the truth about the Easter bunny and why the tooth fairy stopped coming. (Except for 3-4 baby teeth he accidentally swallowed, I kept every tooth mainly because of stem cells, he might need them in future)

And I know you’re going to say he’s old enough to know - he’s 13. But unless he’s playing me, he really believed.

I’ve never felt worse in my life. Merry Christmas…not in my case or his. 💔💔💔😢😢
