Why do gamers always complain about everything nowadays?

I feel like i’m not a real gamer because i don’t criticize every game out there. Like… because that’s exactly what gamers do nowadays! They hate on every game, They criticize every game, they call every game slop even if there’s nothing bad about it.

What do you gamers even want at this point nowadays?

Gaming is a drug. People need more and more to get that high. But there is nowhere for games to go. It's all been done. Publishers just crank out variations of the same thing. People want to live in the past and get the same feel they once did, but it's not going to happen.

It's like the saying "You can't go back home again". The past is the past and you can never return to it. Gamers have to accept that they will never get that same high again.

Modern gamers also have no attention span. They rush through a game then go looking for something else to get their high. Those zoom zoom kind of gamers shouldn't be playing games at all. They should be outside getting exercise and burning off that hyper energy.

On top of all that, almost all modern games are hybrids. In other words a compromise. The days of a few people making a top game are long gone. The games, graphics, sound and all the rest cost a fortune to develop. They are all hybrids to draw in people who like many different genres to pay for the high development costs. So people who want a specific genre of game won't find it, at least not from AAA companies.
