My closest friend is confused.

This guy says he wants a relationship, future, etc. with her.

However when she asked to meet at his town & go out he said "no, maybe in a few weeks" and the only time he's concretely talked about meeting up is in the distant future - fall season - to do things. He hasn't once mentioned meeting up in his town or at house, etc.

Her two previous - only dated 3 guys - boyfriends were more into meeting. One even offered her his old car, as she was sharing a car with her brother at the time, to travel more easily.

My bfs older brother shouts in front of everyone and says negative things about his younger brother in front of me - that he’s an idiot and has a bad disability and what do I see in him and that he useless, etc…. why does he do this?

does he hate his brother or is he jealous?

My boyfriend and I went for dinner to his parents place and his older brother happened to be there as well….. his older brother was being pushy about my boyfriend attending an event around the Christmas holidays and that he would cover his ticket….. he said it right in front of me and didn’t offer me a ticket or invite or even acknowledge me….. my boyfriend said he might not be able to go due to work then his brother started insulting him saying he’s the worst person and that he doesn’t care for his nieces or nephew…..

wasn’t this rude of him knowing that me and his younger brother are in a serious committed relationship? Secondly I have brought gifts for his brothers kids in the past so shouldn’t he have offered to get me a ticket or invite me?

should I have a talk with my bfs mom about this? (This isn’t the first time his brother was rude)
