I've been seeing a younger woman (mid-thirties) and was going to suggest we go up to a cabin for a Valentines weekend. It is somewhat rustic, it has a woodstove which keeps it nice and toasty. We could light lots of candles, cuddle, read each other short stories, play board games, go snowshoeing/cross country skiing, make lots of good meals and chat about everything.

At night you can hear the wolves howling, during the day you can see lots of deer on the snowshoe/ski trail, feed the birds by hand, and visit the waterfall that flows during the winter months.

There's no TV and no Wi-Fi, you have to make your own fun reading, playing games, etc. in the evening hours. Just getting back to the basics/unplugged.

Does a weekend like that even appeal to women these days or does it sound boring?

I have a girl friend, who I've known since around May. She has a boyfriend so I always looked at her as a friend.

Since December, she became very flirty. Lots of touching (massaging, playing with my hands, fixing my hair a lot, touching my neck, etc.) And sexual jokes (For example, I showed her a hoodie and asked her opinion on it, she said if she saw me in that she'd spit on it, then told me with a flirty smile that that's not the only thing she'd spit on, or I accidentally squeezed her neck too hard and I told her I don't know her neck that well yet and she asked "Well, you want to get to know my neck well?"). Or when she said something slightly mean I told her I'll punish her and she said she'd like it and I'm turning her on. And tons of other examples like this. She's also not bothered by the fact that people think we're together.

She told me I'm her last thought before sleep, I told her don't joke around and she said she's not joking (I still think she was joking haha). Or when she almost tripped she said "I almost fell on you" and I said "Well you already fell for me anyways so what does it matter" and she didn't deny it and smiled. Another similar situation to this when she said my coworker loves me (romantically) and I told her "She's not the only one" and she blushingly smiled.

So I'm kind of confused on what I should think. I'd like to think she's just joking around but she says and does these so often that I don't know anymore.

Consider an average boy (Mr Average) born somewhere between 1990 and 2005.

May have a post-high school degree (college or even bachelors degree).

Does not have a car or bicycle.

Works full time. Makes somewhere between above minimum wage to close to average.

Money expends completely towards housing and food.

And since the fun stuff aren't free (e. g. jetski, firing range, trampolines, rock climbing or aquaparks), he resorts to playing video games (e. g. fortnite, minecraft, age of empires, dead by daylight) and mas tur bating to po rn and watching disney+/netflix. Like literally every day.

May or may not smoke weed/vape.

Never went to vacation outside the country. He's too broke for anything!

May speak 2 languages. May be of another origin (e. g. from Europe/Asia/America)

Since food prices went up, he resorts to cooking at home in bulk simple dishes, so that he eats the same meal over the course of 2-3 days.

Stays inside mostly because he's too broke to afford the fun activities outside.

Tends to skip barber appointments sometimes (or just lets his hair grow long but might limit grooming it properly).

Doesn't go to parties because he can't really bring anything nor afford meetup fee's.

Doesn't bother going to nightclubs.

Doesn't go to the gym. He can't afford it.

So how is Mr Average today supposed to get girls and stop being a loser? Work 2 jobs? Hardly possible.
