Long story with this guy, we nearly dated for a while a year ago, then a falling out, blocked each other, whole thing. Recently, we’ve been trying to fix it. I told him I wanted to try being friends again, nothing more, and he agreed and said he wanted it to go back to the way it was before. We played some games together, flirted for a while even. But recently, it’s been weird. His jokes insult me a bit, like my education and my beliefs, like the fact I want to work in the future. But I know he’s joking so idrc. I messaged him a while ago, since I had the feeling my jokes had annoyed him too, he said it was okay, and he wasn’t bothered. But the next day I messaged again and he went off. My jokes had insulted him too. We didn’t really mend that one, just moved on and we’re still good friends. Except in the past week or two, everything I say is met with an argument. I talk about the gym, and he debates my views on feminism. I talked about my chem teacher in our gc, and he argues that it isn’t right for me to complain, never mind that he messages the gc every other day about how he hates school. And he sent me paragraphs as well, talking about us as friends and maybe more, after he messaged me apologizing for another argument maybe a month ago. I know our friend forced him to message, and we talked from there. He was so sweet and said everything right, but I’ve been so fed up with him not solving arguments and letting it sit. His actions don’t match to his words. There’s more but mostly it. It all amounted to last night, when we were online playing a game and I shot one of his friends. I messaged the friend, apologized and we’re great now. But he went off, saying how he hated unnecessary drama and that he couldn’t help me with it, even though it was small and fine? I don’t get this guy and he blocked me maybe an hour later, and I’m still blocked this morning. No clue why. I know he has red flags, and he hates women who’re willing to argue back when he does.
