Long story short, we matched & spoke for a few wks on bumble a few months ago. He asked to meet up, the times he gave weren’t working & I was new at a job/stressed at the time. He follows up again during this time & I didn’t follow through, flash fwd to a little over a month ago & I regretted not meeting up. I sent him a well thought message & he never replied so I assumed he wasn’t interested. Last wk, we end up matching on another app & I was shocked. He msgs me saying he remembers me & I told him I tried reaching out recently but apparently he didn’t know bc he hasn’t checked bumble in a while.

We’ve sent a few msgs everyday since EXCEPT this Mon, I reply to his message from Sun night Mon evening & he didn’t reply until Tues morning. He apologized & said he had a long night…I try to not be clingy but always thought it’s expected you should message matches daily. Personally, I only send 1 message a day or every other day/every few days when it’s very early on, might change to 1-2 per day if the convo is going in the right direction (when it’s just on the app & before sharing #s). I just thought the guy might take more…initiative. Is it a sign they’re not interested if they don’t message daily? We’re still only msging on the app but it can be exhausting checking often. Last thing I’ll add is he reached out Sun night asking for my sched this week to see when I’m avail to meet up. I asked if weekends work & he said he needs to confirm if he’s still scheduled to visit his parents & will get back to me/will try to keep that day open.

I have my reasons why I'm still like this. I've been like this my whole and people find me weird for some odd reason. My high school years were the worst for me. Everyone used to judge me for no reason. Called me ugly and called me a boy. When clearly I was a girl. Boys knew I was a girl so why did the girls think I was a boy? My self esteem was so low back then and still is. I never did anything to anyone and nobody stayed my friend for long. Everyone from high school left me for no reason which really hurt me because I did nothing to them. Out of the blue one old “friend” texted me after 5 years. At that point I lost her number so I messaged “Who is this?” she never messaged me back. Some people really get on my nerves so that's the reason I'm silent. It's so hard to make friends nowadays because I was hurt years ago. Any advice would be really appreciated.

I recently entered the talking phase with t 29 and he’s very much his way or the highway type of man and very rarely is open to other opinions I myself am 23 and if I had to be put into a category I would say I’m head strong and similar to the my way or the highway type of thinking so we’ve been butting heads a lot we said are hard limits and what we both want out of this relationship one of the tougher conversations was we both can hold a conversation with just about anybody which is fine just the boundaries were crossed it was stated that we do not entertain people the way we do with each other I was honest and told him I didn’t and he said the same thing yet today I heard a woman say “you were saying tell me you love me on the phone” which for a lot of reasons made me upset I’m not a very over emotional person but my feelings were hurt and he chose to ignore that and call me out about the way I talk to people instead of asking why I was having that reaction I was overthinking so I went out for fresh air and he was ignoring me and my calls I again kept overthinking and felt like how I felt in my old relationship that I was overly emotional and I couldn’t help it cause I was a woman are the type of things said to me and I feel like this situation is pulling me back into the shell I was once in I know t didn’t say those words to me but not being heard or listened to is just putting me in a dark headspace like a doll no thoughts no emotions no nothing yes sir no sir is where my mind is going and I blame myself I blame myself for being so quick to fall back and back burner my feelings like they don’t matter and questioning myself for being emotional im sorry if this sounds like a bunch of nonsense I can’t get the right words of how I’m feeling besides low and unwanted Sorry again for this long post
