Ok so I am 17 (turning 18 this year & will be attending University and I am pretty mature for my age). There is this guy at my church who recently started attending again. He is 25 and super outgoing and friendly to everyone. I am a worship band leader so it is easy to notice me quickly. So he is helping to build up our youth group again and we've talked over facebook message once for like a day and got to know each other a little in church. Then that weekend his mom suddenly started talking to my mom during their bible study and how I got into the University (she and my mom have barely talked before) and his dad added me on facebook that Saturday (we had 4 mutual friends). The thing is, I just found out today that he is not on the best terms with his parents so I'm not sure if he's told them about me or this is all a coincidence since I'm pretty well-known in my church. Then on Friday, a friend told him that my band is practicing on Saturday so he decided to spotaneously come to "help out" even though he didn't sing or play guitar with us (he just helped fix the instruments) and he shocked me by showing up because I didn't expect it as he didn't reply to my facebook message and didn't seem into talking to me as before. Then my aunt's car broke down with my cousins in it who are attending the worship band practice so he decided to drive me and my cousin and he helped fix her car with no complaints (he thought the situation was hilarious) and we got to know each other in his car. He told me congrats on getting into the University. He knows I never told him what university I got into but he saw my post on facebook (which was 2-3 months ago & I just added him as a friend). Then today during bible study fellowship, I felt him staring at me a couple times but ignored it because I could be overthinking it and he looks at everyone/makes eye contact with a lot of people since he's so nice and outgoing/friendly but I looked at him and saw that he was in fact, staring at

This is a long, complex story so bear with me! I need some help!
So last year this guy really was showing some interest in me. He was overly gentlemanly and flirty, would get jealous and tried to make me jealous. He'd lock eyes with me from across the room. One time when our eyes met he walked into a glass door. 😂I'm extremely shy so he'd speak for me in class. He'd be all confident until he'd get near me he'd stammer. We never talked but there was some serious chemistry. He'd ignore hot girls that were checking him out around me. (His friends would laugh about how he would approach girls when I wasn't there.)
This went on for a while. He wasn't dating anyone else, girls tried to hook him up with their friends but he wasn't interested. We finally talked and he complimented my personality a lot and kept staring and smiling at me. He was very sweet but wouldn't let any guys near me. His hands were sweating and he listened to every word I said. He was overly nice to my parents and wouldn't leave the room if I wasn't there.
I thought everything was perfect until my friend told me he had a lot of exes and he was an abdnormally good kisser (he kissed a girl for a dare 2 years ago). Is he a player? Or does he geniunely like me?
