28F, I don’t think my standards are that unreasonable. I think I have a decent idea of how most people perceive me, with that being said I feel I should be able to attract the kind of guy I’d want. Cute looks, tall, smart, decent job, good sense of humor etc. The last time I saw someone was when I was 23 & it felt like settling which is why I refuse to ever see someone like that again. If you’re in a relationship now, did you hold those standards or have to compromise/settle because you couldn’t find what you really wanted?

I know it’s too soon to jump to conclusions but I matched with someone off Hinge 2 months ago. He didn’t send the first message until last Tue & I replied that Fri considering it took him 2 months to send the first message. He replied at a decent pace, that Saturday evening then I reply last night & he just replied. He’s replying within 24 hrs, so far sometimes sooner but I know my bad luck with dating I feel if the guy is interested he’ll be more persistent

I met a decent guy and felt he liked me (locked eyes, asked me personal questions within limit, was caring). I liked whatever I got to know about him. He acted sincere and respectful at all times. Over dinner with common friends, I noticed him very subtly looking at my boobs. It was a very sincere glance, not creepy at all.

Or should I say he’s going back to the drawing board, considering he took 2 months to reach out to me? We matched on the app back in Jan & he sent me a rose through Hinge, I think it’s a paid feature? He finally msgs me this past Tue & I reply Fri. He had a decent into message but when I replied Fri, he didn’t answer until yesterday evening. In my experience the guys that send roses through Hinge are not as quick to reply as the other regular matches. Are they flaunting their paid membership?
