I’m struggling with something that’s been weighing heavily on my mind. There’s this girl I’m deeply in love with, and she assures me she feels the same. Unfortunately, due to our current long-distance situation, we can’t be together, despite my strong desire for it.

Recently, she’s become close friends with another guy, and I’ve noticed her doing things for him that she never did for me. Although she reassures me of her love and dismisses my concerns as overthinking, I can’t shake the feeling that her actions towards him signify something more.

So, I’m wondering, if she’s doing things for this other guy that she never did for me, does that mean she likes him more and doesn’t love me after all?

so I've been friends with this girl for about half a year now and always had a tiny little crush on her but nothing crazy and it never got in the way of us having a great friendship. But recently we had a dry period of about two months where we became distanced due to no mutual classes and busy schedules. I wanted to fix this friendship so now that it's spring break I invited her over to watch a light hearted movie. The hangout was going well and then we started to get a bit closer on the couch. I started playing with her hair and she then laid her head on my chest so I could be more comfortable doing so. this was kinda crazy and having the weight of her head on me while we watched started to reawaken my feelings and I got butterflies. I even started telling her how nice her hair was and that I could do this all day, even caressing her head a bit too. this went on for like 10-15 minutes and she even stayed on me after the credits started rolling. this was a really awesome moment for me but the following 2 days she just acted like nothing happened. she is still talking to me like im her friend even calling me bestie so that is pretty much telling me its over. I asked if we could watch another movie since I had one in mind and she responded to me pretty unenthusiastically saying maybe sometime but she was very busy and she isn't free for over a week. if there's any advice or interpretations of this behaviour id appreciate it because its not looking to good for me.
