I believe so, I don't believe humans should rate other humans in a scale when it comes to physical appearance, I believe it's got negative effects to people's mental health, putting their appearance on a scale can make them feel stuck, make them feel bad or make them feel like that's their value in the form of a number or a percentage, I believe this is one of the many ways people seek validation and I think maybe it's partially to blame for the way society is now and why everyone is always seeking for validation when it comes to their appearance, don't get me wrong I'm not blind to the existence of physical health and the ability of weight changing someone's appearance but isn't putting it on a scale somewhat unnecessary? It's one thing to tell someone they aren't physically attractive because they are carrying extra pounds for example and then compare it to putting them on a scale and calling them a 1/10 because they have extra weight, at that point isn't it possible to cause a psychological effect to the point they just feel ugly in general? Then they can grow a mental disorder like anorexia, what are y'all opinions on the rating scale? Is it effective in society? If you believe so, negatively effective or positively effective? 🤔

Does anyone have experience in dealing with anorectic people?
