To me, Taylor Swift writes the way a teen with many exes writes in her diary or types in her text messages. When she misses an ex, she writes in a diary-teen style. When she’s angry at an ex, she vents. Her lines are so primitive and conversational that they feel like they were taken directly from texts she sent to a friend.

She uses the average person’s vocabulary, not to mention the cursing and swearing, which cheapens her lines even more. And one more thing: imagine writing about your exes while dating a new guy. How would she show her song to her boyfriend? “Honey, I just wrote a song about my ex.” “Which one?” “Well, I wrote several songs about my recent exes, but this one is about [she mentions the name].” “Wow, so well written! Ok, so, like, sometime in my life, I was thinking of getting off the couch and maybe doing a little travelling to see some of the amazing, fascinating, beautiful, wonderous sites that the wide, wonderous, amazing world has to offer.

A friend of mine suggested Stonehenge. Like, Seriously? Really, who wants to go see a bunch of old mythological, mystical rocks with an old history of mythological, mystical mythology and meet a bunch of old ex-hippie type, flower children sitting around chanting, smoking strange herbs and making sacrifices to the Sun Gods or some shit? Like, Boring.

My ex/best friend sees it different from a soulmate and I agree. He said it can be platonic. But it's basically the other half of your own soul while a soulmate is separate from your own soul. They are just in your soul family.

We both were and still are under the influence (I'm high and he is drunk) though so this may not make much sense lol

But he doesn't believe in soulmates but believes in twin flames. And I think I do too. I think we are twin flames because we think so much alike now. It's insane.
