The most OBVIOUS AND CORRECT answer is NUNYA & GFY. AGREED! But SHOULD they volunteer their desires for the bundle of joy? Does their proximity to the infant permit a "pass" to do this? Is it ok if they preface it with: "It's your decision but..." or "I support your decision but I'm curious..." or "I care & that's why I'm asking..." or "Have you & X-in-law discussed vaccinating?" Is there a socially acceptable way to do this? Is their legitimate interest in the infants health a valid reason to risk a potentially emotional, awkward or severely damaging result to their relationship?

very common take I see at least on my social media algorithms. it's been my experience with my boomer parents (yeah they're old, they were literally grandparents by the time I was born). they were well off. left my two brothers and sister destitute and broke. didn't even get them a car to get to work in at 16-17 but forced them to get a job. almost like they were living in the 50s where making ice cream cones all day could pay enough to afford a new car. the funny part? when my brother ODd and my other brother was locked up in prison for selling drugs and my sister almost died from an obesity related stroke, they said it wasn't their responsibility. who said it was? a guilty conscience?

I saw an article discussing the Great washout of the tech job market. Once an industry that presidents, billionaires, and other prominent people boasted as the pathway to success is no longer.

It speaks volumes when tech majors are struggling more than art history majors. I have come to wonder, has the software engineer the new aspiring "artist" or musician? You know those career paths that are highly unrealistic where people laugh when you tell them? Like "yeah, I want to be the next studio artist for Disney" or some shit like that.

Meanwhile, the middle class is being pulverized and destroyed. Once the beacon of prosperity of the "American Dream" is becoming less and less likely to obtain, especially for younger generations.

I grew up in a typical upper-middle-class family. The two-story family home in a mostly-white subdivision neighborhood with the community pool, attending top-notch schools, and riding in the family SUV. The baseball team, boy scouts, and my regular doctors visits became a common routine as a child. We were able to eat out at modest places after church. The pantry full of food. You know what I mean.

It seems this lifestyle will never be obtainable in my lifetime. My grandparents were wealthy, my parents were strong upper class, my generation is struggling to even afford an apartment or trailer. It is like kicking a can down a road, getting more and more beat up.
